Does a Slack bot count?

Can I make a Slack bot and submit it or do I need to make a public bot exposed on a hosting service?

    Hey Louis,
    A Slack bot would be fine just as long as there's a way for people to access the Slack channel and try it out. You could set up a landing page with something like slackin to auto-invite anyone who is interested.

    I'm planning on making it a slack app so you can install it on your slack team, invite it to a channel and use it there. Does that sounds good?
